AWT launched the original Poultry Welfare Officer training course in 1994 to address issues of welfare and quality from slaughter weight to the end of primary processing. AWT has now authored the Poultry Welfare Officer - Farm (PWOF) training course pdf to compliment the established Poultry Welfare Officer - Processing (PWOP) course pdf. AWT launched the original Animal Welfare Officer training course in 1993 to address issues of welfare and quality from slaughter weight to the end of primary processing. In line with resolving poultry welfare training between farm and processing AWT is in the process of restructuring the original AWO course to AWO - Processing (AWOP) pdf to permit the creation of AWO - Farm (AWOF)
The Fish Welfare Officer training course (FWO) is also under further development and restructuring to reflect not only new developments, accreditation and research but also to resolve fresh water production / salt water production / slaughter, processing and quality. AWT will release the new course options and availability asap. Please send email to AWT with any enquireis or to register interest in forthcoming courses.
